The advertising was weirdly, crudely, shit, all over the city, especially on the subway. Really odd, it reminded me more of a 3rd-World country a lot of the time than the richest place in the world.

Central Park was a moment when I realised I was on another continent, not just another McCity someplace … beautiful, weird birds everywhere! My crappy camera couldn’t do em much justice though…

Went to visit Christian Nold's art project, the Bethlehem Biopsy ... awesome team, it ruled. America's such an ace place... so many great people, such a bizarre scene. Like the religion that drove the settlers out there and held them together in such tough times has now been replaced by a monolithic corporate culture ... that's either unquestioned by many or reviled as Satan's work by the rest. BLACK & WHITE...

DEATH

Back in NYC I was lucky enough to get to play with a great bunch of people at Silent Barn - Doog (Indiana), MRS, and The Cook Sisters (playing in a new un-named project).
